Crawford's Restaurant

Serving some of the best seafood in the South, Crawford's Restaurant offers a wide selection of appetizers, soups & gumbo, salads, sandwiches, entrees, and desserts.
Seafood lunch specials are served from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily and feature various combinations of catfish, shrimp, and crawfish. All-you-can-eat catfish and/or shrimp begins on Friday at 4:00 PM and lasts through Saturday. It includes a cup of seafood gumbo or crawfish etouffee (Eat-in only).
Also on the menu are standard chicken and beef entrees like Chicken Tenders, Grilled Chicken Breast, Chicken Fried Steak, and Hamburger Steak as well as Red Beans and Rice. Lunch and dinner entrees are served with two sides: Field Peas, Green Salad, Green Peas, Caesar Salad, Potato Salad, Cajun Slaw, French Fries, Fried Okra, Corn Fritters, Cajun Potatoes, Mashed Potatoes and gravy, Mac and cheese, Mustard Greens, or Sweet Potato Fries. (I just had to mention all the delicious sides).

Louie's Cafe

An LSU tradition since 1941, Louie's Cafe continues to serve delicious breakfasts and diner fare to Baton Rouge citizens and visitors from around the world.
Specialties on the menu include breakfast combos, omelets, pancakes & waffles, biscuits, sandwiches, burgers, salads, soups, and of course, Louie's own signature hashbrowns. Diner-specific entrees like Chicken Fried Steak, Ground Steak with Onions and Gravy, Pork Chops, and a hand-cut ribeye grilled to order are also available.

Simple Joe Cafe

Created with nostalgic diners from the 1970s & 80s in mind, Simple Joe Cafe serves breakfast and lunch six days a week.
Items on the breakfast menu include seven egg combos featuring meat, hash browns, grits, bagels, French toast, pancakes or wheat toast, breakfast sandwiches, omelets, and specialties like shrimp and grits and a grits bowl.
The lunch menu includes sandwiches, salads, a homemade burger, and specialties like pasta alfredo and quesadillas.

Serving home-style cooking, Frank's Restaurant is open seven days a week for breakfast and lunch.
Breakfast includes Omelets, Pancakes, Specialty Benedicts, French Toast, and a variety of Breakfast Platters. For lunch, there are burgers, sandwiches, salads, soups, everyday favorites like meatloaf and red beans with sausage and rice, and weekly lunch specials.
Hours are 5:00 AM to 2:30 PM seven days a week.
