Chili Dogs for Halloween

Whether you're hosting a Halloween party, have hungry Trick-or-Treaters stopping in for a bite between haunts, or everyone is meeting back at your place after a night of fun, these chili dogs have you covered for food. A pot of chili simmering in what looks to be a cauldron sets the tone for a spooky night and smells great at the same time.

Chili Ingredients

• 1-pound ground turkey, chicken, beef, or meat substitute
• 1 6-ounce can tomato paste
• 1 package McCormick brand Taco Seasoning Mix
• 1/2 cup water
• 2 Tablespoons chili powder

Directions

1. Brown ground meat.
2. Blend in tomato paste.
3. Let cook for about 5 minutes.
4. Add taco seasoning mix, chili powder, and water. (Can add more water if it's too thick). Mix well.
5. Bring to a low simmer, cover, and let cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add water if needed.
6. Serve on prepared turkey, chicken, beef, or meatless weiners on white, whole-wheat, or gluten-free buns.

Recipe doubles, triples, or quadruples easily for a big crowd.
