These are the festivals and Christmas-themed events going on around the state this weekend.

Christmas at Kiroli - West Monroe - December 8 through December 24

820 Kiroli Road

A drive-thru wonderland of Christmas lights is open every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in Kiroli Park for Christmas at Kiroli. On December 10 there will be live entertainment, food trucks, and appearances by Santa and his friends.

Admission is $10 per vehicle/$20 for commercial buses and large vans.

Victorian Christmas at the Joseph Jefferson Home & Rip Van Winkle Gardens - New Iberia - December 8 through December 31

5505 Rip Van Winkle Road

The Joseph Jefferson Home and Rip Van Winkle Gardens are decorated for the holiday season and open for tours. Tours begin on the hour seven days a week from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Admission is $14 for adults/$12 for seniors/$8 for children ages 6 to 17.
