Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre's annual production of The Nutcracker - A Tale From the Bayou happens this weekend at the Baton Rouge River Center Theatre for Performing Arts. In its 30th year, the two-act classical ballet set on Christmas Eve features more than 100 community dancers and several sought-after guest artists for a magical experience.

There will be two performances on Saturday, December 16, and again on Sunday, December 17, at 2:00 PM AND 6:00 PM. All attendees are required to have a ticket to enter the theater, regardless of age. Tickets can be purchased through the BRBT office (225-766-8379), the River Center box office, or Ticketmaster.

Ticket prices range from $30 to $90.
