A pub crawl happens Friday evening at 5:00 PM with patrons meeting at The Hideaway on Lee, followed by a pre-festival kickoff party at The Hideaway at 8:00 PM. Musicians from Ireland, Scotland, France, Louisiana, Texas, Alabama, and Carolina will take the stages at Warehouse 535 beginning at 12:00 PM on Saturday.

Wearin' of the Green Parade - Baton Rouge - March 16

The 39th annual Wearin' of the Green Parade begins at 10:00 AM on Hundred Oaks behind the Catholic Life Center and rolls down the street taking a right onto Eugene Street and then a left of Terrace Blvd. It turns left on Perkins Road, goes over the overpass, and ends at the intersection of Stanford Avenue and Perkins Road.

Basketball legend Simone Augustus is this year's Grand Marshal.

St. Patrick's Day Metairie Road Parade - Metairie - March 17

Founded in 1971, this family-friendly parade in Old Metairie features over 100 floats, marching clubs, bands, trucks, and throws. Considered one of the top ten best and largest St. Patrick's Day parades in the United States, it begins at noon at 41st Street and Severn, travels south down Servern, and takes a left onto Metairie Road. The parade turns left onto Focis Street and disbands at Canal Street.

Irish Italian Parade - Houma - March 17

The Terrebonne Parish Irish Italian parade begins at 1:00 PM on the corner of Westside Boulevard and West Park Avenue, by Cannata's, and ends at Town Hall. Bring your umbrellas and nets because fresh vegetables don't last on floats and this parade rolls rain or shine.
