HexFest - New Orleans - August 9, 10,11

The Bourbon Orleans Hotel in the heart of the French Quarter hosts the HexFest: A Weekend of Witchery in Old New Orleans. Magical teachers from New Orleans and around the world hold workshops to share their wisdom on rituals, healing, crystals, herbs, the magic of dreams, meditation, spiritual cleansing, and so much more.

This is a ticketed 18+ event.

NOLA Comic Con- Kenner - August 10 & 11

4545 Williams Boulevard

Pontchartrain Convention and Civic Center is the setting for the New Orleans Comic Con. Doors are open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday and from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday. Tickets are $18 general admission for adult one-day passes and $25 for weekend passes. Children under 12 are admitted free.

Red Dress Run - New Orleans - August 10

French Quarter/Marigny

Supporting local charities, the Red Dress Run is a fun run through the streets of New Orleans where participants wear red attire. Registration is required to participate. Gates open at 9:00 AM.
