    Pioneer Heritage Days - Greenwood -

    Guests can immerse themselves in the pioneering spirit at the 50th Annual Pioneer Heritage Days Festival. Festivities include a concert, parade, vendors, craftsmen, and a pancake breakfast.

    Le Tour de Bayou - Alexandria - September 21

    3601 Bayou Rapides Road

    Le Tour de Bayou is a cycling opportunity along the breathtaking bayous and wooded forests of Central Louisiana. Beginning at Kent Plantation, the bike routes include a 2-mile family fun ride/walk, 10 miles, 25 miles, 40 miles, 69 miles, and 101 miles.

    Registration is required.

    Poverty Point World Heritage Festival - Oak Grove - September 21

    305 East Main Steet

    The Poverty Point World Heritage Festival celebrates Poverty Point, a site that has been sacred ground for 2,300 years. Attendees can enjoy demonstrations, a parade, a cornhole tournament, live entertainment, a parade, vendors, food, and activities for the kids.

    Hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

    Krewe of Erin Celtic Heritage Festival - Ponchatoula - September 21 & 22

    201 W Magnolia Street

    A fun, family-friendly event for all ages, the Krewe of Erin Celtic Heritage Festival features Celtic music and dance groups, local musicians, children's performing groups, educational workshops, crafts, food vendors, kids's activities, workshops, contests, a wild game cookoff, and plenty of food.

    Musical guests include:

    It all happens at the Kiwanis Park in Ponchatoula.

    Westbank Heritage Festival - Westwego - September 21 & 22

    2000 Segnette Boulevard

    The Alario Center in Westwego is the location of fun for the entire family at the Westbank Heritage Festival. There will be live music, food, and games from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

    Admission is free.

    Hero Fest - Gray - September 20, 21, 22

    3441 West Park Avenue

    The Barry P. Bonvillain Civic Center is the location for the 2024 Hero Fest. Celebrating first responders in Terrebonne Parish, the festival features live music, rides, food, and a crafts show.

    Performers include:

    • Cliff Hillebran
