    Five Powerball Tickets Totaling $2.4 Million Were Purchased in Pennsylvania This Week

    They weren't the biggest winners, but they made out with a substantial sum of money

    Although Pennsylvanians missed out on the billion-dollar prize, there were five different winning tickets that amounted to $2.4 million for Wednesday, July 19th's drawing.

    The Pennsylvania Lottery announced in a news release that the five winners received a combined $2.4 million, including one worth $2 million sold in Clearfield County, and four others worth $100,000 each sold in Bucks, Philadelphia, Clarion, and Lawrence counties.

    The tickets were sold in Pennsylvania leading up to the $1.08 billion ticket, which ended up being sold in California. It was the third-largest Powerball jackpot and sixth-largest United States lottery jackpot, according to the release.

    Here's where the tickets were sold and how much each one was worth in the historic drawing:

    • Dubois, Clearfield County-$2 million ticket-Walmart, 20 Industrial Drive
    • Philadelphia-$100,000 ticket-Wawa, 12004 East Roosevelt Boulevard
    • New Castle, Lawrence County-$100,000 ticket-Ho Ho Food Mart, 701 East Lutton Street
    • Knox, Clarion County-$100,000 ticket-Choice, 533 East State Street
    • Trevose, Bucks County-$100,000 ticket-LUKOIL, 4613 Street Road

    The $2 million-winning Powerball with Power Play ticket matched five of the five white balls drawn, 7-10-11-13-24, and the red Powerball 24.

    The four $100,000 winning Powerball with Power Play tickets each matched four of the five white balls drawn and the red Powerball 24.

    The Walmart that sold the $2 million ticket will receive a $10,000 bonus. The other stores will receive a $500 bonus.

    Before the jackpot-winning ticket in California, the Powerball had been rolling since April 19th, according to the release.
