    Mableton Man Accused of Firing Shot through a Hotel Room Wall

    Christian Cole Randall, 31, of Mableton, is accused of firing a Glock 48 9mm pistol inside his hotel room that penetrated the wall and traveled into a neighboring room’s bathroom on July 14 at midnight at the Days Inn by Wyndam Marietta-Atlanta-Delk Road, 2191 Northwest Parkway in Marietta, according to an arrest warrant from the Marietta Police Department.

    A hole was observed in the adjacent room’s bathroom at thigh-height next to the bath tub. A pipe on the bathroom counter in Randall’s room contained crystalized methamphetamine. Randall also was in possession of 38 grams of oxycodone tablets in a small baggie, an ounce of marijuana and a small baggie of mixed Xanax tablets and Xanax bars, weighing approximately 4 grams, according to the warrant.

    Randall was not permitted to have a firearm after having been convicted in Cobb County Superior Court of theft by receiving stolen property charges on May 24, 2017, according to the warrant.

    Randall is charged with reckless conduct; possession of firearm during the commission of a felony-controlled substance; possession firearm felon Georgia; possession of methamphetamine; two counts of possession; and possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana. He was arrested on July 14 at 12:40 a.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records.

    Randall remains in custody without bond.
