Celebrate 4th of July around the valley with music, games, and fireworks
If you are staying in town this fourth of July and still planning on how you will be celebrating, here are a few events happening in the valley and its surrounding areas. Tomorrow morning at 11am, the LC Community Concert Band will be performing at Pioneer Park Bandshell in Lewiston. Families are welcome to enjoy this musical celebration.
Clarkston Farmer’s Market Changes Hours for July 4
CLARKSTON – The Clarkston Farmers Market will remain in Beachview Park for Thursday, July 4 but will change open hours to 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Clarkston Farmers Market regularly operates in Beachview Park every Thursday from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. June through August, changing hours to 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. in September and will resume with regular hours on July 8.

American Airlines flight diverted after Oregon man, 25, 'exposes himself and urinates in aisle'
A flight bound for Manchester, New Hampshire, was forced to divert on Wednesday after a man allegedly exposed himself and urinated in the aisle of the plane. The 25-year-old man from Oregon was arrested and charged with indecent exposure once the flight landed at Buffalo Niagara International Airport. He was later released after making his initial appearance in federal court in Buffalo, as per a statement from the US Attorney's Office for the Western District of New York.

Seattle area under Heat Advisory through weekend
SEATTLE - The National Weather Service issued a Heat Advisory for portions of northwest and west central Washington from noon Friday, July 5 to 10 p.m. Monday, July 8. The advisory covers cities like Seattle, Tacoma and Bellingham and expects temperatures in the upper 80s and 90s, increasing the risk of heat-related illnesses. It also states that temperatures will remain well above average into next week.
