Trip the Light on the Floating Stage (with guest appearance)!
Making their Summer Concert Series return, Lock Haven-based party band Trip the Light will be performing this Saturday, July 21, from 6:30-9:00 on the Floating Stage!. The horn-based party band specializes in funk music, as well as a mix of songs from the 70’s to today. Founded in 2016, the band has been performing regularly and making a name for themselves in the area. The group is comprised of Keith Bashnik (drums), Doug LeBlanc (trumpet), Len Cagle (saxophone), Dee Waddell (saxophone), Chris Bartley (bass), Tyler Crossley (guitar), Kato Clark (vocals), and Diane Freynik on lead vocals.

UNIVERSITY PARK – Penn State Athletics has announced game day themes for the 2024 football season presented by PSECU. The nationally-recognized Penn State White Out is scheduled for Nov. 9 against Washington, while the Penn State Stripe Out will take place on Oct. 5 against UCLA and the Helmet Stripe happening on Nov. 2 against Ohio State.

Montour County, Pa. — One person is dead and two were injured as a result of an afternoon crash on I-80 westbound today, according to police. At 2:47 p.m., police responded to a three vehicle crash on Interstate 80 westbound at mile marker 221. COLUMBIA COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Three Columbia County relatives were arrested on riot charges following a violent altercation on March 28. On April 5, Berwick Police arrested Paul F. Bartlow, 26, Paul E. Bartlow Jr., 55, and Benjamin Bartlow, 25, on multiple charges including a felony charge of riot/intent to commit a felony.
Local woman caught stealing from school district’s PTO fund
Montgomery, Pa. — A woman’s husband exposed her for stealing Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) funds to cover credit card debt and personal expenses. Elizabeth Jane DeSantis, 44, of Montgomery, admitted to taking the funds during an interview with state police investigators in May 2023, Trooper Josiah Reiner said.
