MDHHS reports sixth measles case this year
LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) and the Macomb County Health Department (MCHD) are reporting a recently identified case of measles in a Macomb County child – the state’s sixth case to date in 2024. The child was diagnosed on July 3. The child’s exposure to measles is being investigated. There is no known international travel associated with this case.

Randall Auchmuty, 48, of Kimball was arraigned this week in Clinton Township 41B District Court for failing to pay his child support on his two minor children. According to the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office, Auchmuty was ordered in December of 2019 by Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Matthew Switalski to pay $455.00 a month in child support for his two children.
