Does the biggest gym necessarily mean it's the best? Residents of Macomb County are about to find out when the world's largest Powerhouse Gym opens in 2025. Did you know Powerhouse Gym was founded in Michigan? Brothers William and Norman Dabish opened the first Powerhouse Gym in Highland Park in 1974. At the time, the gym was nothing more than a place for people in the neighborhood to exercise. They promoted the gym as a place you could go for boxing, bodybuilding, karate, and kung fu.

Decision made by Macomb prosecutor on assault claim against Warren pastor
An assault complaint filed by two Warren women against Harvest Time Christian Fellowship Pastor Curtiss Ostosh has been dismissed by the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office. Jayme Lynn Morris and Amber Fuller alleged that during the June 25 Warren City Council meeting, Ostosh pushed them into the back wall of the Warren Community Center auditorium. They filed a police report immediately after the meeting.
