(CBS DETROIT) - A 46-year-old Macomb County man who was found guilty of shooting and killing his wife in July 2022 was sentenced Wednesday. Matthew Louis Mollicone of Washington Township was sentenced to 86 months to 15 years for voluntary manslaughter, 12 to 40 years on charges of assault with intent to murder and two years to run consecutively for three counts of felony firearm. (CBS DETROIT) - A Lapeer County police officer is accused of lying to investigators after her teenage son was involved in a vehicle crash with an Amazon truck last year.Macomb County prosecutors said Amanda Szymanski, 45, who is an Almont police officer, was off duty and allegedly told investigators that she was in the car with her son at the time of the crash on July 2, 2023. Fraser rape charges dismissed after accuser is no-show for court hearing
The case of a Fraser man accused of raping a woman was dismissed Wednesday after the alleged victim failed to show up for a court hearing. Judge Kathleen Tocco of 39th District Court in Roseville set aside three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and three counts of felony firearm possession that were levied against Mario Davis, 39, for the suspected incident last April.
