MACON, Ga. (WGXA) — The Macon-Bibb County Commission has proposed purchasing new internet security systems totaling nearly $321,000 in the wake of May's cyber attack. According to agenda minutes, the Commission has put forth a resolution to authorize Mayor Lester Miller to establish an agreement with 1 Accord Technologies for the purchase and implementation of eight Cisco Catalyst 9300 systems for enhanced internet security and stability in the amount of $320,955.04.
