Woman Ordered To Stand Trial For Wrightstown Murder
The woman is accused of killing a 72-year-old man. A Philadelphia woman was ordered to stand trial Thursday for the killing of a Wrightstown Township man last October. Meghan Macklin, 46, was charged in March with the murder of 72-year-old Richard Scott MacFarland in his home at 55 Apple Hill Road.

Christina Manero of Glenside is in her 11th year with Life Celebration by Givnish. A former student at St Luke’s and a graduate of Bishop McDevitt, she initially attended La Salle University’s nursing program before finding her niche in the funeral world. She graduated from Mercer County Community College’s mortuary school in 2015 and has been a funeral director with Givnish ever since.

The schools in this conference are all basketball-first schools, which can often lead to higher expectations and shorter leashes for coaches. Dr. Barbara Friedes, 30, Killed In Philly Crash
Barbara Ann Friedes, 30, was struck from behind by a 2018 Volkswagen on the 1800 block of Spruce Street around 7 p.m., Philadelphia police wrote in a release. The Volkswagen then hit three parked cars before coming to a rest, police continued. Friedes was taken to Jefferson University Hospital and pronounced dead, while the driver of the Volkswagen was taken to the same hospital with minor injuries, officials said.

Car collided with tree, killing East Allen Township man, coroner says
A 51-year old Northampton County man died of multiple blunt force injuries following a car crash Wednesday night, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office said. Johny Roustic, of East Allen Township, was the driver of a vehicle that crashed into a tree in the area of Pembroke Road and East Washington Avenue in Bethlehem, the coroner said.
