Scattered Showers/Storms On July 4th
OVERNIGHT: Scattered showers formed in Lakes Country throughout the afternoon and evening hours, but after 10 PM, they died out, leaving a mix of clouds. Otherwise, Wednesday afternoon was decent, with highs in the upper-70s to low-80s in some areas. During the overnight hours, skies will be partly clear across most of our region, but after 4 AM, scattered showers will start pushing through the southern half of the James River Basin, so a few areas in southeastern ND and northeastern SD will see a chance of rain overnight. The northern half of our region, however, will stay dry, so don’t expect rain chances in the Devils Lake Basin, for example. Besides that, expect a mild night, with temperatures in the 60s in many areas.
