MADISON CO., Ala. (WAFF) - An Owens Cross Roads man pleaded guilty to conspiracy to export U.S.-origin goods to the Islamic Republic of Iran in violation of trade sanctions. Court documents read that in May 2014, 70-year-old Ray Hunt, also known as Abdolrahman Hantoosh, Rahman Hantoosh and Rahman Natooshas registered a business with the Alabama Secretary of State.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Ray Hunt, also known as Abdolrahman Hantoosh, Rahman Hantoosh and Rahman Natooshas, 70, of Owens Cross Roads, was convicted of exporting U.S.-origin goods to the Islamic Republic of Iran in violation of trade sanctions.
