Severe Thunderstorm Watch

(Des Moines) The National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 10:00 p.m. for Adams, Fremont, Madison, Page, Ringgold, Taylor, and Union counties in southwest Iowa.

Forecasters say strong to severe storms are possible in southern and southeastern Iowa this afternoon and evening. Large hail and damaging winds are the primary threats, although a tornado cannot be ruled out.
