Jackson man charged with felony stalking, among 12 other charges
A Jackson man is out on bail with an ankle monitor as he faces 13 felony charges from three counties, including a felony stalking charge. Paul Shapiro, 33, has been charged with felony stalking, burglary and grand theft charges in Teton County, Idaho, as well as four additional felony charges in Teton County, Wyoming, and Madison County, Idaho. He is suspected of stealing from various construction sites across state lines.

One dead after significant crash at Sugar City overpass Tuesday night
One person is dead after a significant, fiery crash on Highway 20 at the Sugar City overpass took place Tuesday night. Madison Dispatch received calls at approximately 9:12 p.m. regarding a single vehicle crash at the exit 338 overpass. Callers relayed that the vehicle had crashed into the overpass and caught fire. Madison County Sheriff’s Office deputies, along with the Rexburg Police Department, Madison Fire Department and Idaho State Police responded to the call and located the single occupant of the vehicle who was found deceased. Southbound traffic was diverted near the north Madison County line and blocked off the area to drivers. At approximately 11:56 p.m. all lanes were re-opened. The name of the driver has not been released.
