REQUEST FOR PUBLIC COMMENT/NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
East-West Gateway Council of Governments (EWG) seeks comment on amendments to Connected2050, the St. Louis Region’s long-range transportation plan, including the FY 2025-2028 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and related Air Quality Conformity Document. The comment period will also satisfy Madison County Transit District’s and Metro’s public hearing and program of projects requirement of the Federal Transit Administration Sections 5307, 5309, 5310, 5337, and 5339 programs in the St. Louis Region. The public comment period begins Friday, 6/28/24, and ends Thursday, 8/1/24. The documents, comment forms, and a summary of the documents will be available on EWG’s website at www. ewgateway.org. Throughout the comment period, EWG staff will answer questions on the documents. Comments or questions must be received or postmarked by midnight, Thursday, 8/1/24. Send comments via the comment form on the website, by email to TIP@ ewgateway.org, or by mail to East-West Gateway Council of Governments, Attn: TIP, 1 S. Memorial Drive, Ste. 1600, St. Louis, MO 63102. The public is also invited to view these documents and supporting materials at a series of open house meetings. Dates and locations are listed below. Each meeting will be held between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Through ownership changes, renovations and tweaks to the menu this joint has remained a staple in this northwestern Madison County town since the 1980s. Some recent adjustments to the menu drew me in with some friends. Some goodies were removed, but there is still plenty to choose from. Florissant woman charged in Edwardsville Best Buy robbery, vehicle theft
A north St. Louis County woman is facing federal charges after she was allegedly involved in a robbery at Best Buy in Edwardsville. Jakiava T. McCoy, 21, of Florissant, was charged by a federal grand jury with two counts of transportation of a stolen vehicle, one count of interference with commerce by robbery and one count of unlawful possession of a machine gun.
