The Swamp will host SEC Nation on college football’s opening weekend
The SEC Network’s traveling show, SEC Nation, will open the 2024 season in Gainesville when the Florida Gators host the Miami Hurricanes on Aug. 31, the network announced on Wednesday. Construction underway on Georgia's largest Buc-ee's, opening slated for summer 2025
The wait won't be much longer on Georgia getting a new Buc-ee's. Construction has started on the Brunswick location on Georgia 99 at the I-95 exit. It's being built by J. Raymond Construction out of Florida. Media coordinator Crissy Gonzales said via email that the Buc-ee's has a tentative opening date of June 2, 2025. However, that date is subject to change.
