One injured in vehicle collision
During the early morning hours of July 23, responders were alerted to a reported head-on style collision involving two vehicles at Piney Point Road and Peninsulas Court in Valley Lee. Crews found two vehicles damaged with airbags deployed in the roadway. Both occupants from each vehicle were able to self-extricate. One driver was transported to the hospital and the other driver declined treatment.

On July 27 at around 1:30 p.m., crews were sent to the area of Plum Point Road and Woodlow Drive in Huntingtown for a crash with injuries. After assessment, one person was flown to Children’s National Hospital by Maryland State Police helicopter.
