An April Maine Department of Health and Human Services inspection of Pioneer Motel in Edgecomb identified three critical and 11 non-critical violations of Maine Rules Relating to Lodging Establishments. ROCHESTER — Services for Brig. Gen. John Pogorek were set to be held as the investigation into the accident that took his life is ongoing. Pogorek, who was commander of the New Hampshire Air National Guard Base at Pease, was struck by a vehicle on July 8, according to police.
