New fire engine for Lake Anna area of Louisa
Over the last two days personnel from Louisa’s New Bridge fire station has been getting familiar with their new engine. Firefighters tell us it’s now officially in-service and available to serve the Lake Anna area.
Back to School Bash expands to entire weekend in 2024
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – 2024 is an expanded year for the African American Pastor’s Council Back to School Bash as it’s an entire weekend August 10 and 11. Pastor Alvin Edwards with Mt. Zion First African Baptist Church pre-registration is closed for the Saturday, August 10 backpack and school supplies giveway… but 300 are available to those who have not pre-registered. That’s 10-to-noon at the Ting Pavilion.
