MADISON, Wis. -- Healthy Food For All of Dane County announced Thursday the relaunch of its "Buy One For A Neighbor" program, which helps low-income families access fresh produce.

HFFA said the program asks farmers' market shoppers to buy extra fresh produce or other goods from market vendors and donate it, on the spot, to be distributed to low-income families in Dane County. Donations will be shared immediately after the markets close.

In addition to collecting donations on the Capitol Square, HFFA said it will also be re-launching BOFAN at the Northside Farmers' Market, the Monroe St. Farmers' Market, the Eastside Farmers' Market, and the Capitol View Farmers' Market.

If you are unable to attend a farmers' market, but still want to contribute to the program, donations can be made through the BOFAN GoFundMe page .
