Local aviation camp to host annual program

MADISON, Wis. -- The Willa Brown Aviation Academy (WBAA) will hold its fourth annual Camp Willa program at the Madison and Middleton airports.

The one-week program will run from July 8-12. The camp is aimed to encourage kids from smaller communities to pursue a career in aviation.

21 Madison area kids will participate in five days of tours, presentations, hands-on activities and fly in an airplane with one of WBAA volunteer pilots.

Monday and Tuesday (July 8-9) will be held at the Dane County Regional Airport.

Wednesday July 10 the camp will move to Middleton Airport at Morey Field.

Thursday and Friday (July 11-12) the campers will receive a free airplane ride and a graduation ceremony will be held on Friday.
