Wisconsin basketball has secured an official visit with top-ranked class of 2025 shooting guard Davion Hannah, according to 247Sports’ Brandon Jenkins.

Hannah will also take official visits to Alabama, Louisville, Ohio State and Wake Forest this fall. He will visit Wisconsin the weekend of Sept. 14 — the same date as four-star SF Amari Allen.

The news arrives a few weeks following the four-star’s decision to transfer to Link Academy in Branson, Missouri for his senior season of high school basketball. He remains the Badgers’ top class of 2025 target despite that move.

After being ranked as the No. 1 overall recruit from Wisconsin while he attended Nicolet High School, 247Sports now ranks Hannah as the No. 3 overall recruit from Missouri, No. 4 combo guard in the class of 2025 and the No. 29 overall player in the class. The 6-foot-5, 175-pound combo guard is still a four-star recruit across 247Sports, On3, Rivals and ESPN.

Hannah has earned 17 offers thus far, including from Alabama, Iowa, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Creighton, Oregon, Marquette, Michigan State and Ohio State. The list will surely balloon once his senior season at Link Academy begins.

As of June 14, Wisconsin’s class of 2025 ranks No. 7 in the nation with commitments from in-state shooting guard Zach Kinziger and in-state center Will Garlock.

Like Allen, another athlete with in-state ties to the state, Hannah’s connection to Wisconsin could potentially impact his collegiate decision. If Duke, Kentucky, UConn, or Kansas become involved, however, the chances for UW to land a blue-chip prospect will become relatively slim.

Still, the news revolving around his official visit is no laughing matter. With Alabama scheduled to play at Camp Randall on Sept. 14, Wisconsin will certainly prepare an excellent itinerary for the talented rising senior.
