In the 608: Summer Restaurant Week underway in Madison

MADISON, Wis. - It's one of our favorite weeks of the summer, and there's more buzz surrounding Madison Restaurant Week. This time around, you have even more options.

Madison Magazine puts on two Restaurant Weeks every year—one in the winter and one in the summer. Restaurant Week is an opportunity for businesses to showcase their best menu items, with some even trying new things. This week, there are more than 40 participating locations. Editor Andie Behling tells me that's the most they've had in a long time.

Here's how Restaurant Week works:

• Click here for a running list of all the restaurants taking part this week.
• Starting at $30, participating restaurants offer a menu with three courses.
• Some restaurants will offer a lunch menu for $20.

Just be sure to make those reservations ahead of time if you can. Restaurant Week ends Friday, July 26, so there's still plenty of time to get out and enjoy your favorites or perhaps try a new option this week.
