    A-1 Furniture & Mattress in Madison to close after 47 years

    MADISON, Wis. -- A-1 Furniture & Mattress in Madison announced it will close after 47 years in business.

    The store said it will have a store closing sale on Thursday, 2002 S. Stoughton Rd.

    Items such as furniture and mattresses will be sold along with odds and ends, wall art, and end tables.

    Sale hours will be from 9:30 a.m. to 8 pm Monday-Friday. Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 6 pm. Sunday 12 pm to 5.
