Madison Police searching for 3 teens who allegedly robbed a man

MADISON, Wis. -- Madison Police are searching for three teens who reportedly robbed a man after the parties allegedly coordinated a shoe sale over Snapchat.

Police said officers were dispatched to the 7000 block of Tree Lane around 2:10 a.m.

The victim said three teens surrounded his his vehicle. Two of those involved reportedly pointed a gun in his direction.

Police said the victim quickly accelerated and sped out of the parking lot after this occurred, striking a vehicle.

A witness reportedly called for police after seeing the crash. A K-9 Unit was brought in to help search for the suspects. No arrests have been made.

The incident remains under investigation.
