City against proposed gravel pit in Town of Verona
The City of Verona has sent a letter to the Town of Verona in opposition of an application for a proposed sand and gravel operation. For the second time now, the City of Verona Common Council’s July 22 agenda included a discussion about a conditional use permit (CUP) application that was recently filed with Dane County for a Wildcat Sand and Gravel Pit in the Town of Verona. The proposed operation is located at 7228 Pine Row.

Located in West Milwaukee, Sherman Park Grocery is the only full-scale, Black-owned grocery store in Wisconsin.
