Monroe Life Balloon Festival raising money for Boys and Girls Club
VONORE, Tenn — The Monroe Life Balloon Festival will return to East Tennessee for its 11th-year celebration from Saturday, Aug. 31 to Sunday, Sept. 1. Festivities will occur from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. each day at the Sequoyah Birthplace Museum in Vonore, Tennessee. The nonprofit event will feature at least 15 hot air balloons for a sunset balloon glow on both nights.
TVA Board approves additional $150M in advanced nuclear funding
