As part of their continued "strategic expansion", OSF Healthcare is bringing Orthopedic Services to Peru. OSF's new Peru Orthopedic office opens Monday July 29th, and will be home to two surgeons Illinois Valley residents will likely remember, Doctors Connor Kasik and Robert Mitchell. Cicero Man Arrested Near Utica on Heroin/Fentanyl Charges
A suburban man was arrested Thursday by agents from the TRI-county Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team, or TRIDENT. Twenty-nine-year-old Alexander Bryant of Cicero was taken into custody north of Utica. Agents say he'd delivered a mixture of heroin and fentanyl to undercover agents multiple times. TRIDENT says that on one occasion Bryant delivered 48 bags containing 31 grams of the drug mixture. On Thursday, he allegedly delivered agents 56 bags containing 35 grams of the mixture.
