Driver charged in Spencer Co. crash that killed motorcyclist
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Kentucky State Police have arrested a Nelson County woman in connection with a deadly crash that killed a Jefferson County man. According to the KSP Frankfort post, the crash happened around 5:10 p.m. July 21 on U.S. 150 and Old Louisville Road in Spencer County.
Man killed in early morning Russell neighborhood shooting identified
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The name is now known of the man killed in a shooting in west Louisville from earlier this month. Louisville Metro police officers were called on Wednesday, July 10 just after 3:15 a.m. to the 2600 block of West Chestnut Street in the Russell neighborhood. LMPD says 2 people taken to hospital after shooting outside Old Louisville business
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A local man, who works to prevent violence in the city, became a witness to a double shooting outside an Old Louisville business Monday morning. Marcus Poyntz is the supervisor at Cure Violence Program YouthBuild. He was sitting at a stop light across the street when gunshots were fired. He told WAVE News he looked to his left and saw a man coming out of the store with a gun, shooting at a car in the parking lot.
