Mississippi man found shot to death in car near Kentwood

A Mississippi man is dead after a weekend shooting near Kentwood.

Tangipahoa Parish sheriff's deputies say they got a call about a man slumped over in a car on Brab Alford Lane near State Line Road around 8:30 a.m. Sunday. Dispatchers say the caller told them the car was sitting in the middle of the road and was surrounded by glass.

When first responders arrived at the scene, they found that the man inside the car had been shot to death. Deputies have identified that man as Edward Robinson, 43, of Magnolia, Mississippi.
