Greenville lemonade stand raises money for Children's Miracle Network and ECU Health
GREENVILLE, N.C. — Sunday some Greenville kids were selling lemonade for a good cause. It was part of the 8th annual Miller and friends lemonade stand event. The lemonade and treats sold raised money for the Children's Miracle Network and Maynard Children's Hospital. 107.9 radio personality Marc Miller and his kids started the stand eight years ago, and say they're excited to see it continue to grow every year.
Kinston Police investigating shooting that sends woman to hospital
KINSTON, N.C. — Officials with the Kinston Police Department say they are investigating a shooting that happened Sunday evening. Investigators say they received a call around 9:15 P.M. about shots fired at Mitchell Wooten Apartments along Mitchell Wooten Court. Once on scene authorities say they found a 22-year-old woman who had been shot. Authorities say the woman was taken by helicopter to ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville.
