Mississippi law enforcement is looking for a person who reportedly attempted to set a Mississippi house on fire with six people inside.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help identifying a dark-colored pickup truck and a person.

The pickup truck and person were involved in an arson that took place on July 26 just before midnight near the Montebello neighborhood in Natchez.

Four children and two adults were inside the home that night when it was set on fire.

Sheriff Travis Patten and his deputies ask anyone with information to call the Adams County Sheriff’s Office’s Special Operations Group at 601-442-8333 or Southwest Mississippi Crime Stoppers at 888-442-5001.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for this crime. However, to be eligible for this reward, you must call Crime Stoppers and receive a code for the information.
