Sunbury, Pa. — A district attorney filed a motion last week to keep the public out of preliminary hearings scheduled for two defendants for a high-profile homicide case in Sunbury. Annual Covered Bridge & Arts Festival returns to Central PA this fall
The weather outside is changing and the leaves will soon be in their autumn glory, which means it will be time to celebrate the start of fall in Columbia & Montour Counties with the 42nd Annual Covered Bridge & Arts Festival! This immensely popular four-day fall festival will be held at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds in Bloomsburg, PA from Thursday, October 3 through Sunday, October 6. Hours for the event are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The event is produced and coordinated by the Columbia-Montour Visitors Bureau. Parking and admission to the festival are free and tour buses are always welcome.
