Woman Arrested After Attacking Patient at Somers Rehab Facility
SOMERS, N.Y. - An employee of The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center has been charged with physically attacking a disabled resident, state police said. Jossette F. Thompson, 51, of Dover, was arrested on June 11 and charged with Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent or Physically Disabled Person, a Class E felony, police said.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER She was arraigned in Somers Town Court, released on her own recognizance, and was scheduled to appear in court on Monday, July 22.
