Pennsylvanians can bet on their smartphones, but PA sports betting regulators levied a $100,000 fine against a casino for taking bets over the phone. The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board issued a $100,000 fine to Live! Casino and Hotel Philadelphia for the PA sports betting wagers during Wednesday’s board meeting. Along with the fine, the bettor was placed on the state’s involuntary exclusion list.

(WHTM) — Two members of a Pennsylvania motorcycle club were convicted last week on federal robbery charges. Solomon Rodriguez, 34, of Reading, and Steven Wong, 43, of Shalotte, N.C., were facing Hobbs Act Robbery, firearms, and related charges. Hobbs Act Robbery relates to robbery affecting interstate or foreign commerce, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

Officers spotted the vehicle near North 3rd and Washington streets around 1:30 a.m. When they tried to pull it over, the 15-year-old driver fled into Muhlenberg Township where he lost control and crashed, according to officials.
