County Sheriff’s Blotter: Individual gives false ID and shoplifting
The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office released reports of recent arrests in the area. Twomey, 34, of Marathon, was arrested on Sunday (Aug. 25). The county sheriff’s report stated that officers conducted a trespass investigation at the Thrifty Shopper store on Route 281 in Cortlandville. The investigation determined that several individuals were trespassing on the property.

Johnson City man convicted on weapons charges
A Johnson City man was convicted of weapons charges following a trial in Broome County Court this week. According to the Broome County District Attorney’s Office, 47-year-old Grady J.
