Jennifer Lopez continues on her grind amid constant rumors that she and her husband Ben Affleck are headed to divorce court.

The 54-year-old pop sensation excitedly announced in her Instagram Stories on Tuesday that her production company, Nuyorican Productions, is adapting Emily Henry’s esteemed romance novel into a TV series. J.Lo reshared an Instagram story post from her friend and producing partner Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, which showed a screenshot of an article reporting the news, on her Instagram Stories.

“Can’t wait,” Jennifer wrote atop her reposted Instagram story from Elaine’s account. In the corner was the hashtag “#NuyoricanProductions.” She also tagged the people who were working on the project with her like Elaine, as well as the book’s author Emily.

It’s no shock that Netflix optioned Happy Place to the Get Right singer. Since signing a multi-year deal with Netflix that extends beyond feature films into TV series and unscripted content in 2021, her track record with producing highly-watched content has been stellar.

According to Deadline, “Jennifer’s Netflix movie Atlas clears 72.7M global views, another high for the actress and producer after her 2023 movie with the streamer, The Mother , which is the ninth-most-watched movie on Netflix with 136.4M.”

What is a bit telling, however, is that she signed on to produce Happy Place. The 2023 book follows characters Harriet and Wyn, who have "been a perfect couple since they met in college — they go together like salt and pepper, honey and tea, lobster and rolls. Except now, for reasons they’re still not discussing, they don’t," according to an official synopsis, per People.

"They broke up five months ago, and they still haven’t told their best friends," the synopsis added. "They find themselves sharing a bedroom at the Maine cottage that has been their friend group’s yearly getaway for the past decade, and continue to lie through their teeth to their friends about their relationship status."

Some fans are seemingly drawing parallels between the fictional characters Harriet and Wyn and real-life celebrity married couple Jennifer and Ben, 51.

“Wouldn’t promote this right now. Timing is everything and this ain’t it,” one wrote on X, implying that Jennifer shouldn’t be promoting anything that has to do with relationships. Given that hers is reportedly struggling.

There is much speculation that Jennifer and Ben are on the verge of splitting up, but are just remaining quiet about the situation. Many are convinced that Bennifer 2.0 are dunzo because of how they’re spending time apart - Jennifer recently vacationed in Italy without Ben - and they are no longer living together.

Jennifer is living in the couple’s $61 million home in Beverly Hills, California, which they’re now selling - the pair purchased the extravagant house in 2023 after they married in 2022.

Meanwhile, the Daredevil star has been living in a rental home "a few miles away," according to People. An insider told the news outlet that the Gigli co-stars only " see each other every few days ."

If Bennifer 2.0 doesn’t last this would be the second time that they would’ve broken up. They got engaged in 2002 after dating for a little while that year, but called off their engagement and split in 2004.
