Police say Pulse nightclub owners will not be charged in fatal mass shooting
The Orlando Police Department has closed an investigation into the former owners of Pulse nightclub, with no charges being filed. On June 12, 2016, a mass shooting at the LGBTQ+ nightclub in Orlando left 49 people dead and injured 53 more. The gunman, 29-year-old Omar Mateen, who pledged allegiance to the Islamic State, was shot dead by police.

Last season they finished 17-12 overall (8-10 in Big 12), placing them tied for eighth in the conference. Expectations for the current season are modest, as they are projected to finish 11th in the preseason poll while embracing new talents in the middle-blocker position.
