Illinois expands lead exposure risk areas, adds 148 new ZIP codes
The Illinois Department of Public Health has expanded its list of high-risk ZIP codes for lead exposure, recommending mandatory testing for children under 12 living in those areas, with the goal of implementing universal testing for lead exposure across all Illinois ZIP codes by 2026.

A Chester man has died after a two vehicle crash in Cape Girardeau. The crash occurred on Wednesday July 3rd around 11:45am just 1 mile west of Jackson.
