(YAKIMA) - The Yakima City Council passed the stay out of drug areas ordinance at Tuesday’s council meeting. The stay out of drug areas are two zones around North 1st Street and South Naches Avenue. With this ordinance municipal court judges can ban people facing drug charges from visiting these areas as a condition around pre-trial release or after the conviction.
