Wicket: Wicked parody musical now playing in Atlanta

Scripted musical, Wicket, is coming back to Atlanta after touring around the country. So, what's it about? Through song and dance, Wicket rewrites this classic Star Wars tale from an Ewok’s perspective, with lots of laughs. Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the Galactic Federation, the cutest, cuddliest and deadliest creatures will share their story of what was really going on.

“Star Wars fans will want to see Wicket again and again,” said Tim Stoltenberg, Dad’s Garage’s artistic director. “And that’s great, because we’re staging it for almost a month! Seriously though, we’ve cast some of our favorite performers, so even if you’ve seen it performed around the country, you’re going to want to see Wicket at Dad’s Garage this fall.”

Wicket first debuted at Dad’s Garage in 2017. It features Dad’s Garage ensemble members, Karen Cassady Wicket, and local Atlanta actors, and at least one opera singer, will bring together (in song, no less) the subversive humor of Dad’s Garage and Star Wars fandom. Buy tickets here.
