Sportsman's Warehouse exits lease in new Butte plaza
BUTTE, Mont. — An update on a large retail development under construction on the south side of Butte. During a meeting of the Harrison Avenue South Urban Revitalization District Board Thursday morning, developer Dave Leon of PF Management Group announced that Sportsman’s Warehouse has agreed to a settlement after stating their intent out of their lease for a spot at the 20-acre Cornerstone Plaza.

Plan to preserve Bozeman Health-owned trail system unanimously approved
There are 470 acres of undeveloped land just east of Highland Avenue where many Bozeman residents use trails throughout the year. Owned by Bozeman Health, the land is leased to a local rancher and Montana State University to support their Foundation Seed Program, and available to the public for biking and hiking in the summer, and groomed cross-country skiing in the winter. Bozeman Health’s Subarea Plan, a proposal to change the future land use designation to preserve the parcel for public use, was presented to the public in 2022. On Aug. 20, the Bozeman City Commission approved the plan unanimously. The change in land use would allow more opportunities for recreation in Bozeman.

Gianforte housing task force suggests limiting urban parking requirements

Missoula Man Found Unconscious in Car With Drugs at Rose Park
Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On August 18, 2024, Missoula Police Department Officers responded to Rose Park for a report that a male was passed out behind the wheel of a running vehicle. There was an unsheathed knife within his reach. Officers were able to wake the male and identified him as 31-year-old Ivan Bobko. Bobko was dazed but advised he was diabetic and was having issues.
