The Noble Park Summer Music Series hosts free live music
PADUCAH — There are still a handful shows left in the Noble Park Summer Music Series in the Bob Noble Park, including a set on Friday, July 19. The River Dust Duo will be playing at 5:30 p.m. and Jazz Patrol at 6:30 p.m. The River Dust Duo is two vocalists, a man and woman, who play guitar and upright bass together, while Jazz Patrol is an 18-member ensemble comprised of local musicians from Western Kentucky and Southern Illinois.

A Jefferson County Court Administrator said a work aid inmate from the Metro Department of Corrections accidentally broke a sprinkler head while moving a box in the building's laundry room on Tuesday.
Bud Hudson League receives record donation
The Bud Hudson Junior Pro Football League is still in its early phases of the 2024 season, but already it has scored a touchdown. According to a press release from the league Thursday morning, former Hopkinsville High School All-State linebacker Steven Kelley and his wife Tracy have purchased 200 uniforms including tops and bottoms for players in the league. The uniforms cost nearly $20,000, which is believed to be the largest single gift to the Bud Hudson League by a private citizen in its 73 years of operation.

SMITHS GROVE, Ky. (WBKO) – Authorities responded to a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 65 South Thursday.
