Family members gather to honor legacy of early Cedar City builder George A. Wood
CEDAR CITY — Dozens of family members of Cedar City pioneer builder George A. Wood recently gathered at Wood Ranch in Cedar Canyon to celebrate his legacy. The July 20 reunion was attended by an estimated 130 people of all ages, many of whom were either direct descendants or extended family members by blood or by marriage, to George Albert Wood (1878-1964) and his wife Sabina Jochum Wood (1882-1967).
